About Us
We are a highly respected and highly specialized restaurant, bar, and foodservice consulting and venture firm that has clients and deals of all shapes, types, and sizes around the world.
Since our beginnings in 1987 we have only dealt with restaurants, bars, and foodservice industry concepts and businesses and therefore feel that our singular focus in one singular industry has helped us become what we feel is the best in the world at what we do.
In fact, you can find our world-famous books in bookstores and on bookshelves across North America and in 76 countries around the globe. Our founder is an author of world-famous books with two new books being released over the next year, a speaker at industry events, a guest instructor at universities across the country, a magazine publisher of a well known International magazine brand, an entrepreneur, a husband of twenty years, and a father of two boys. After more then twenty years of developing ROI he still insists on personally interacting with, working with, and getting to know each and every person and company that ROI does business with.
Our founder started his working life at twelve years old washing dishes at a neighborhood restaurant in a small town in Wisconsin. He has been a dishwasher, a stock boy, a cashier, a shift manager, an assistant manager, a Manager, a District Manager, a Regional Director, a Regional Vice President, a Vice President, a Sr. Vice President, a Chief Operating Officer, a President, a CEO, and an Owner in the restaurant industry.
He has spent more then twenty years developing, growing, and operating ROI and has personally served many thousands of customers and worked with, led, mentored, and inspired many thousands of employees. He attended the University of Wisconsin and has earned his Masters in Business Administration.
He has a highly driven, unique, and OLD SCHOOL hands-on management style which has earned him respect from many of the country's entrepreneurs, corporate giants, and educators, and his results orientation and style virtually guarantees that our Clients will get results.
